    Charlie’s passion for movement began on the rugby field. After experiencing his fair share of injuries throughout his playing career, he quickly realised the importance of strength, conditioning and moving well.

    With over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry, Charlie has dedicated his career to helping others move better, get stronger and build confidence through training. He holds a degree in Sports Coaching, is a proud lululemon ambassador and if you can’t find him at the Ave, there’s a good chance he’s catching a few waves at Bronte Beach.

    His coaching philosophy is simple: train with purpose, stay consistent and create an environment where people genuinely enjoy showing up.

  • Nathan Henderson

    Strength & Conditioning Coach, Mobility Specialist

    Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Nathan brings over 9 years of coaching experience and a background in strength & conditioning. After dealing with recurring injuries during his rugby career, he developed a passion for helping people move better, get stronger and stay injury-free.

    Nathan has worked with athletes and everyday people alike, including leading the Strength & Conditioning program for a women's rugby team in Ireland's top amateur league. His coaching focuses on building strong, resilient bodies through quality movement, mobility and progressive strength training.

  • Conor McClenaghan

    Strength & Conditioning Coach

    Originally from the UK, Conor has a background in Sport and Exercise Science and began his coaching career working with high-level university athletes across a wide range of sports, from rugby and swimming to lacrosse and more. Since moving to Australia, he's specialised in hybrid and HYROX-style training, while also helping clients improve their performance and everyday health through nutrition, backed by his Master's degree.

    Conor is passionate about helping people improve their quality of life through strength, movement and nutrition. On his days off, you'll usually find him at the beach, in a coffee shop or running laps around Centennial Park.

  • CJ Soden

    Strength and Conditioning Coach

    CJ is a proud Clovelly local and has been working in the fitness industry for over 10 years. With a wealth of experience as a personal trainer, he brings extensive knowledge and energy to the Avenue community.

    When he's not coaching on the gym floor, you'll find him working as a support worker or leading his weekly Sunday run club, @clovellyrunclub. Passionate about helping people move, connect and challenge themselves, CJ embodies everything we're about at the Ave.
